Scheme Details

The Rajasthan Government Health Scheme (RGHS) is an expansive healthcare initiative designed to provide comprehensive medical services to government employees, pensioners, and their families. The scheme ensures accessible, affordable, and timely healthcare for all beneficiaries, promoting a healthier population across the state.

Eligibility and Enrollment

The RGHS scheme is available to various categories of beneficiaries, including:

  • Ministers
  • Members of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly
  • Ex-Members of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly
  • Serving AIS Officers and Retired AIS Officers
  • Serving State Government employees
  • Pensioners and family pensioners under RCS (Pension) Rules, 1996
  • Serving employees of State Autonomous Bodies (SAB) including Boards and Corporations appointed prior to and after January 1, 2004
  • Pensioners of State Autonomous Bodies (SAB) including Boards and Corporations appointed prior to and after January 1, 2004

Enrollment is facilitated through an easy-to-navigate online portal where eligible individuals can register by providing necessary documentation and personal details. Once enrolled, beneficiaries receive a unique RGHS card, granting them access to the scheme's benefits.

  • Outpatient (OPD) Treatment: Consultation with specialists, diagnostics, and minor procedures at government and empanelled hospitals and clinics.

  • Emergency Care: : In case of grave emergencies, treatment is allowed in referral hospitals after due reference from the competent authority.
  • Coverage Limits: Treatment up to INR 5 lakhs per family on a floater basis, with additional expenses for catastrophic illness up to INR 5 lakhs.
  • Travel and Ambulance Charges: Traveling allowance for medical treatment journeys as per applicable TA Rules, and coverage for ambulance charges.
